A new season means a new squad is needed for this year. After 4 years with the Highland Boy's Basketball Squad, 1st year Head Coach Kurt Schneider is excited for this upcoming season.
Coach Schneider is expecting everyone to play hard and comepete in every game. As tryouts have come to an end, Schneider has found that group that only want to play for fun, but wants to compete, play hard, and be a part of the Lady Rams Squad Family.
Long with a new student-athlete squad, there is also a new coaching squad. Rex Bexstead returns for his 3rd year with the rams, while Kim Koeven returns for her 2nd season. Newcomers to the Lady Rams squad is former Highland Boys Basketball Coach Keith West, following West is Tea Sitake, who is currently the Head Coach for Volleyball's Lady Rams Squad.
When theres a coaching squad, there is also a support staff. Taylor Munroe is entering his 4th season with the Lady Rams as the Media Relations Coordinator, who is over all Social Media and Stats for all levels in the basketball squad. Missy Mackay-Whiteurs is serving her 2nd year as Athletic Director with Highland, but has been an Assistant Principal in the past. Derek Tedder has been with Highland for years serving as the Director of Sports Medicine/Head Athletic Trainer.
Come out and be a part of these great group of girls by coming out to support them at their games. First tip off of the season is set for November 24th at 7:00 PM against Lone Peak High School at Highland.
